Sequins and beads in box

It makes me feel nostalgic just to see the prices in 'Real'. These were bought in Salvador to decorate t-shirts. There a couple of little pink springy things too, which I also sewed on, although they tended to get caught on things and unwind. I had a phase of decorating and modifying clothes when I got back too! When England felt strange on return, and I stayed with my parents and sat up late with the sewing machine adding lace and sequin bits to things and listening to CDs from Brazil. 'A lambadao' is the song I think of.
